Plot Hole: In Rocky V, it was discovered that Rocky had sustained significant brain damage from his fight with Ivan Drago that forced him to retire prematurely. Yet, in Rocky VI aka Rocky Balboa, Rocky comes out of retirement and is given a fresh boxing license. Humorously, his brain damage is never mentioned in Rocky VI, and the only reason he had difficulty obtaining his license was due to his age. Clearly the boxing commission should have denied him based on the fact that he had serious brain damage.
