Men at Work Plot Holes

In Season 2, "The New Boss", Editor-in-Chief P.J. hires a new editor named Alex.

Plot Hole: After Season 2, Episode 9, Alex is never seen again. There is no explanation for her sudden absence.

In Season 3, Episode 3 "Holy New Boss!", In this episode, Myron is hired as the new Editor-in-Chief of Full Steam Magazine.

Plot Hole: What happened to the old boss P.J.? I thought he was Editor-in-Chief. So, is he the Editor-in-Chief or does he own the magazine? They seem to contradict themselves in this regard.

In Season 3, Episode 6 "Hi, Jude", Milo has recently quit Full Steam magazine to work on his novel.

Plot Hole: Why is Milo still hanging out at Full Steam Magazine several days a week after quitting his job? Also, why does no one seem to care that he is there distracting the actual employees from their jobs? He also willingly admitted to stealing items from the office.

Constructive Criticism: A great show by cable sitcom standards, but plots and characters seem to move way too quickly. In season 3, Myron was hired as the new Editor-in-Chief of Full Steam Magazine and seven episodes later he was promoted by P.J. On top of that, Jude was introduced in Season 3 Episode 6 and four episodes later she is promoted to Editor-in-Chief when P.J. promoted Myron. Furthermore, P.J. hired Alex to be Editor in Season 2, but after a couple of episodes Alex is never seen again.
