Plot Hole #1: In Season 2, Episodes 27 and 28 "The Power Transfer" Parts 1 and 2... Zack, Jason, and Trini are chosen to represent Angel Grove at the World Peace Conference in Switzerland. As a result, the rangers are faced with the task of having to replace them. In order to transfer the powers, they have to find the Sword of Light on a deserted planet.
Why it doesn't make sense: A Peace Conference typically only a lasts a few days and at most a couple of weeks. Why would you need to replace them? Also, if they have the ability to be transported presumably millions of miles away to another planet, why can't Zack, Jason, and Trini transport 6,000 miles from Switzerland to California to help the other rangers? What further destroys this episodes credibility is that in Season 3 "A Friend in Need" Parts 1-3 the Power Rangers are transported all the way to the planet Edonoi to help Dex (aka The Masked Rider). If they can transport to other planets then why do Jason, Zack, and Trini need to be replaced if they're still on Earth?
Plot Hole #2: In Season 2, Zack grows dreadlocks but during the morphing sequence he still has a flat top.
Plot Hole #3: In Power Rangers: Wild Force episode "Forever Red", we get to see every red ranger return. Jason reprised his role as the red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. This makes no sense, as in Season 2 of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Jason transferred his powers to Rocky and stopped being a Power Ranger so that he could attend the World Peace Summit in Switzerland with Trini and Zack. How could Jason have morphed into the red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger if Rocky took Jason's red ranger power? To complicate things worse, in Season 3 long after Jason left the Tyrannosaurus Dino Coin (along with the other Dino Coins) were damaged beyond repair by Rito Revolto. This is why the power rangers sought out the Ninja Coins and became the Ninja Rangers. So the fact that Jason was able to morph into the original red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger makes absolutely no sense continuity wise. Rocky was the final red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger... so where was Rocky in this episode? Rocky is never even mentioned in this episode. By story logic, Rocky should have represented the red MMPR instead of Jason, and even then Rocky story wise would not have been able to morph due to his dino coin being damaged beyond repair.
Plot Hole #4: In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, if you notice Zack is missing a finger on one hand. However, when Zack morphs into the black ranger suddenly he is no longer missing a finger.
Plot Hole # 5: In Season 1, Episodes 34 and 35 was that when the green candle burns out that Tommy will lose his Green Ranger power. If I'm Rita Repulsa, why were they waiting for the candle wax to slowly burn down? Why didn't they just throw the candle in a fire or throw it in an oven? They waited forever for the candle to slowly burn down when they could've just melted it in seconds.
Plot Hole # 6: If the Dragonzord walks out of the ocean nearby, how come no one from the government follows the Dragonzord back to the ocean water to see where it hides?
Plot Hole # 7: Often times when at school or Ernies Juice Bar, the Rangers will duck behind some lockers and scream very loudly "It's Morphin' Time" and disappear. It's odd that no one ever notices or hears this.
Plot Hole # 8: In Season 1 Episode 1 "Day of the Dumpster", Zordon explains to the rangers that their powers draw upon the ancient creatures you call "dinosaurs". However, this doesn't make sense as Zack's Mastodon and Trini's Sabre Tooth Tiger are not dinosaurs.
Plot Hole # 9: In Power Rangers Super Megaforce Episode 20 "Legendary Battle", Tommy appears out of costume and saves a child from a car that is about to fall off a cliff. Tommy extends Saba, the White Ranger dagger, to which the child grabs and Tommy pulls the child to safety. Then, later on in the episode when all the power rangers ever assemble to help the Megaforce rangers, Tommy is shown walking in the Green Ranger costume. Then, when the legendary battle starts, the camera zooms out at one point to see both the Green Ranger and White Ranger in the same sequence. How could the Green Ranger and White Ranger fight at the same time if both are Tommy? Also, how was Tommy able to be the Green Ranger if his Green Ranger power was lost forever in Season 2 of MMPR? Then, how did he also have White Ranger power if that was lost too? Basically, every scene with Tommy in it made absolutely no sense. Let's not forget that Tommy was also the black Dino Thunder ranger too lol.
What doesn't make sense: Why do Rita and Zedd always send their monsters to the same exact town?
What doesn't make sense: If there are monsters as big as skyscrapers destroying the city why doesn't the government or military get involved?
Unaddressed Issue: During the Megazord fight scenes, often times the monsters and Megazord fall on top of office buildings and skyscrapers completely leveling these buildings to rubble. Aren't there people in these buildings? So... how many hundreds or thousands of people have the Power Rangers accidentally killed landing on top of these buildings? Apparently, no one ever seems to notice this or make mention of it.
